Over ten years of design experience, with a focus on web graphic user interface design. I have a strong understanding and passion of design aesthetics, along with the ability and technical know-how to execute and work with development teams.
I design from the end user's point of view. I refer to it as "designing in the 4th dimension". I always stay several steps ahead during the entire creative process. My goal is create an enjoyable experience for the end user and keep them from thinking as much as possible.
Experience working closely with marketing teams, brainstorming interactive promotional campaigns, concepting and working on proposals for large clients such as Coca-Cola, Sony, General Mills and many more.

I'm Chris, a forward thinking, highly motivated web, interface, experience, and print designer with over 10 years design experience.
Although I have over 10 years of design experience, my professional career really took-off after graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art with a BFA in design. I was immediately snagged by VerveLife - an interactive music promotional agency. Over the years I have worked on dozens of large promotional campaigns for brands like Schick, General Mills, Sony and more. Working in such a small agency on huge campaigns really let my technical and creative skills evolve. My daily responsibilities included brand/ marketing strategies, concepting, designing, wire-framing, UI/UX design user flow mapping, presenting, building, testing, bug tracking and maintaining all of our projects. Not to mention that having the opportunity to work with record labels and some of todays hottest musicians is pretty cool too.
I wasn't always a cutting edge interactive designer. I have over a decade of good ol' fashioned manual labor under my belt. Through my experience with carpentry, automotive, and electronics, I developed a unique understanding of how things work and how people interact with everyday objects. This perspective and set of various skills, make me an exceptionally experienced problem solver as well as a better designer.
